Who doesn’t appreciate a martial arts film once in a while. If you don’t, maybe you haven’t seen a good one yet, like Ip Man. “A semi-biographical account of Yip Man, the first martial arts master to teach the Chinese martial art of Wing Chun.”

The story is grand, music great, cinematography awesome, action entertaining, and the acting superb. Donnie Yen owned this character.

But, best of all there is a Ip Man 2!

  1. “Ip Man 2” is even available on Netflix Instant Watch! What an amazing invention… Like it’s the best invention ever.

But out of curiosity, after watching the first movie, I wiki’d the real Ip Man. Turns out he was just an opium addict. At least the movie was good though.

  2. yes, NetFlix Instant Watch is awsome!

I too googled for info on Yip Man. Yes, he was addicted to Opium. I wouldn’t be too harsh though, there were some social-cultural-economic things going on at that time in China. Who wasn’t? 🙂 Just kidding.

In the future, they’ll talk about how Americans were addicted to medical crack, hashish, and all the other things the nuts are trying to legalize. 🙂
